Finally..

I am at a place where I dont feel I have to keep looking. I am a web designer/developer for a company called CTS International. Previously to starting there.. they had me come in and meet everyone, sign papers, talk about up coming projects… something I had never experienced with any company before. I soon realized I reached nirvana when I saw the kitchen stocked with coffee, pop, and snacks.. not just cheap stuff but real hardy snacks like chex mix and beef jerky – holding back the tears… I went to my coworkers office and talked about the equipment I needed to perform my job – I merely mentioned that it would be nice to have two monitors for copy n paste reasons.. my coworker, Steve, couldn’t wait to go buy me a 27″ MAC with CS4. I also need of course to test on IE and Windows, so I have another monitor for that… WOW – talk about the ultimate job scenario – nice people, a 27″ MAC/CS4 plus a virtual Windows machine, coffee, pop and snacks – damn..
so check out what I have been doing.. 2 domains so far: http://www.awesomejobs.com and http://charlestonjobs.ctsinternational.com/ [soon to become liveincharleston.org ] and my employer – CTS Interntional – http://www.ctsinternational.com – pass these around if you know of anyone in need of a job in the healthcare, IT, and aerospacce fields
My affinity for guacamole and mexican food
Posted by Michaelson Design in Uncategorized on July 11, 2009
I can eat Mexican food everyday. In fact, when I once vacationed in Santa Barbara for two weeks I did. Two weeks of Mexican food – lunch and dinner. I didn’t even get tired of it.
My favorite thing Mexican food related is guacamole. I loved guacamole. If there was a guacamole flavored soda I would drink it. When I moved to Seattle from Los Angeles when I was 14, I couldn’t tell you how disappointed I was with the Mexican restaurants here. After a few years, I had married and moved to a place in WA called Shoreline – we luckily stumbled upon a restaurant called Todo Mexicos . We have been going there for over 10 years. If anyone knows of other great places in the Puget Sound area please let me know!
